Effect of plunger number on hydraulic  transformer's flow pulsation rate
In order to supply theoretical guidance to hydraulic transformer's design and application,the effect of the number of plungers in hydraulic transformer on its flow characteristic is analyzed,theoretical analysis and simulation are done on hydraulic transformer's flow characteristic when the number of plungers is different.Based on the working principle of swash plate piston hydraulic components,mathematical models of instantaneous flow and flow pulsation rate are built,and simulation study is done with MATLAB.As a result,the effect is found,and some conclusions worth referring to are obtained.

An empirical hybrid shock absorber model capable of capturing nonlinear and hysteresis characteristics of shock absorbers is built.The nonlinear characteristics are modeled by algebraic function and the hysteresis effects between shock force and shock velocity are modeled by neural network.To develop the empirical hybrid shock absorber model,a Mazda CX-7 front shock absorber is tested by a displacement-controlled hydraulic shock absorber testing machine.The hybrid shock absorber model is built and validated using the experimental shock absorber data.The RMS value for the hybrid shock absorber model is 60.28N at the velocity range from-1.3m/s to 1.3m/s.

Operation control strategy of series-parallel hydraulic hybrid vehicle
A series-parallel hydraulic hybrid system applied to public buses is put forward,and parameters of key components are analyzed and determined.Energy management strategy based on logic threshold is designed which is aimed at efficient operation of the overall system considering the operational characteristic of the components and taking the curves of engine,hydraulic pump/motor and hydraulic pump as the main design basis;regenerative control strategy which makes regenerative brake system and frictional brake system work harmoniously is designed to raise recovery rate of regenerative brake energy.System dynamic modeling and simulation results show that the energy control strategy designed here is able to adapt system to changes of working condition and switch the operating mode reasonably.The regenerative braking control strategy is effective in raising the utilization of energy and improving fuel economy.

Research on bionic quadruped robot based on hydraulic driver
A prototype of hydraulically powered quadruped robot is presented.The aim of the research is to develop a versatile robot platform which could travel fleetly in outdoor terrain with long time of endurance and high load carrying ability.The current version is 1.1m long and 0.48 m wide,and weights about 150 kg.Each leg has four rotational joints driven by hydraulic cylinders and one passive translational joint with spring.The torso carries the control system and the power system.A novel control algorithm is developed based on a Spring-Loaded Inverted Pendulum model and the principle of joint function separation.The robot can not only cross a 150 mm high obstacle in static gait and trot at 2.5km/h and lkm/h on the level-ground and 10°sloped-terrain respectively,but also automatically keep balanced under lateral disturbance.In this paper,the mechanical structure and control systems are also discussed.Simulations and experiments are carried out to validate the design and algorithms.

Work characteristic analysis of single-rod symmetric cylinders
Hydraulic cylinders are divided into single-rod asymmetric cylinders and double-rod symmetric cylinders. The single-rod asymmetric cylinder has the advantages of small size and simple structure,but its speed characteristic is not symmetric. The double rod symmetric cylinder has the characteristic of symmetric speed,but it cannot be used in some special occasions. In this paper,one special hydraulic cylinder,a single-rod symmetric cylinder,is developed. Firstly,characters of this type of cylinder are introduced. Then,the system model is constructed by using one software which is Simulation X. Moreover,one single rod asymmetric cylinder is designed and the test rig using the symmetric valve to control single-rod symmetric or asymmetric cylinder is constructed. Both of the simulation and experimental results show that the symmetric valve control single-rod symmetric cylinder servo system is of symmetric speed characteristic,which can be used in practical occasion.
